I'm So Into This Kind of Guy

Let me introduce you to FRED FIGGLEHORN..

He is a fictional character created and portrayed by American actor Lucas Cruikshank. Cruikshank, a teenager from Columbus, Nebraska, created the character for his channel on the video-sharing website YouTube. The videos are centered on Fred Figglehorn, a fictional 6-year-old who has a dysfunctional home life and "anger management issues" (Wikipedia).

Creative, isn't he?!
He also deepens his character so well..
He doesn't mind looking like a ridiculous person in front of the camera..

I can say this Lucas guy is imaginative and talented..
Take a look one of Fred Figglehorn's video on YouTube..

Cruikshank obtained the Fred channel in April 2008, and was launched officially May 1, 2008. Cruikshank believes that viewers either "automatically love Fred or automatically hate Fred, there is no in between." The videos primarily consist of the character speaking to the audience about what is happening in his life. Fred has a high-pitched "chipmunk" voice, making him sound more like a 6-year-old. According to Cruikshank, this effect and the hyperactive appearance of the character are achieved by speeding up the video. The character lives with his recovering drug-addicted and alcoholic mother, whose voice is often heard, and his grandmother.Fred's father has been mentioned several times as being on death row in the state penitentiary. Fred hasn't met his father as he left Mrs. Figglehorn while she was still pregnant with Fred. The series uses a floating timeline, that is, it is always taking place in the current year, meaning that Fred is perpetually 6 years old, and in Kkndergarten. He also has a crush on a girl in his kindergarten classmate named Judy. Fred has described Judy as, "so mean... yet so attractive." Fred's grandmother is mentioned as briefly caring for Fred while his mother was in rehab, on account of alcoholism and drugs. In December 2009, Cruikshank filmed Fred: The Movie, which will air on Nickelodeon in 2010. Nickelodeon hopes to create a franchise surrounding the character and has committed to a sequel (Wikipedia).

The first thought that comes to my mind when I first saw Fred's YouTube video is "This guy is cute!!"..
I don't know,, maybe some of you don't agree with me..
But after I browsed Google and saw his photo, I felt like my opinion is proven.. XD
See for yourself..

@.@ Can't speak a word...

FYI,, he also has two Christmas music video titled Christmas Is Creepy and Christmas Cash..
Like the melody and the animation.. :D

Shrek - Ing

Shrek Forever After, the last series of Shrek: The Movie..
I watched it with my two college friends, Audi and Wince, at Semanggi 21..
I remember not much, but the most thing that stick in my mind is Shrek's three babies.. ^___^

They are Fergus, Felicia, and Farkle.

The story is about Shrek who is getting bored of his everyday life as a family man. Get up in the morning, take care of his ogre babies, do the household thingy, and so on, and so on. Ain't got time for hisself. Finally, his boredom erupts when he attends his son's birthday party. Shrek leave the party and have a little confrontation with Fiona at the backyard. Unconsciously, their conversation is heard by Rumpelstiltskin. Rumpelstiltskin is a magic deal-maker who was failed at making deal with King Harold and Queen Lilian (Fiona's parent) because of Shrek. Through that event, he sees a very good opportunity to infect Shrek's mind. He approaches Shrek and offers him a day to feel like a real ogre again, in exchange for a day from Shrek’s childhood. Without knowing what day it is, Shrek accepts the offer. He doesn't know that the day which is taken is the day he was born. When there was no Shrek, the story would be different. Hmm.. I think these posters below are enough to make you, Shrek's loyal audience, wonder what happen after Rumpelstiltskin gets what he want. ;P

Another movie I've seen is a Korean movie titled ...ing

This movie was recommended by my long-time-no-see college friend, Anastasia, and it successfully made my tears burst out..

It tells a story about young girl who has a chronic disease and right deformed hand since she were born. Her name is Gang Min-ah. Min-ah has a very very cool-lovable-pretty mother named Mi-sook. One day, she encounters a very very nice-carefree-high spirited-smart photographer who just moved to her apartment (Such a GREAT MOTHER, such a GREAT GUY~~). He falls in love with Min-ah on the first sight. Day by day, he tries so hard to get Min-ah attention and befriend with her. But after they get into a deeper relationship, Min-ah discovers her disease that can take her life anytime, anywhere. Then, the sad scenes begin... Aarrrgghh, I absolutely recommend you this movie! And tell me how you feel after you watch it.

@Anas: Hey you, busy girl.. How're things going?? What are you doing now?? Wanna hear your story there.. Waiting for another recommended Korean movie also.. Hehe.. Just share it on your old blog.. ;D

Meekness and majesty

In righteousness You poured out Your love so free
And now my soul will worship You
As an offering

We come into Your presence now in awe
Casting all our crowns at Your feet
How wonderful the things that You have done
Forever You will reign glorious

Be lifted up from Glory to glory to glory
We offer up the praises that You deserve
You're changing us from glory to glory to glory
Our lives will shine before You and shout Your worth
You're glorious

Celebrate The Day

I proudly announce you: I JUST FINISHED THE 4th SEMESTER!!!
*hope for the best for the result^^*

Two days ago was my last day on this semester..
It was closed by DNA technology's final exam..
How was that?
Hmm.. So, so..
A little bit disappoint because the essay question was about a story which my docent told on his last lecture..
And yeah.. I didn't attend the lecture.. >_<
The question was like this:
  1. Write down brief story about the children who play on train railway (a story told on DNA technology's last lecture)!
  2. What dilemma that happen in the decision making?
  3. What factors needed in an objective decision making (no emotional feeling)? Give an example of biotechnology case that bioethics involves in it!

Actually, I have heard some versions of that story (children and the train railway)..
I just didn't know which the correct one is..
But that was not a big deal, though.. ;)

After the exam, I and some of my friends (Ibel, Eli, Audi) gathered at Anne's boarding house near our campus..
I was really tired because I didn't get enough sleep the day before..
So I slept at Anne's room while the other did their own thing..
Eli watched Glee: Season 1 in Audi's laptop, Ibel played mini games in my laptop, Audi & Anne listened to the music and sang along together..
The last thing we did before we went back to campus (we all are Outbound 2010's committee and had to attend meeting on that day) was >>> TAKING SOME PICTURES OF US!!! ^-^

The pink one: Ibel
The blue one: Me
The yellow one: Eli
The black one: Anne
The white one: Audi

We also used some camera effects in Anne's laptop that made us looks ugly, weird, and funny... X)

I wanna say: "Thank you, friends.. Thank you for making my day.. I did have a great time with you all.. You guys are awesome!"^O^
Now I'm ready for...
H.O.L.I.D.A.Y.S!!! ^___^ ♥♥♥
